LLOYD'S Maritime Academy has launched its Certificate in (key performance indicators) KPIs, offering a thorough introduction to performance management for the shipping industry directed by John Hunter, a performance management specialist in shipping and stevedoring companies. Mr Hunter said that performance management is the bedrock to shipping companies who are under increasing pressure to re-think strategies and seek efficiencies as a result of both global trading conditions and the need for environmental monitoring and compliance.
