丹麦海上电缆公司NKT旗下新型电缆敷设船(CLV)"NKT Eleonora"号的船体已在位于罗马尼亚图尔恰的VARD船厂下水。
该船于2025年1月,即举行钢板切割仪式的2个月后,正式举行了龙骨铺设仪式。
“NKT Eleonora”号船舶将具备使用甲醇和氢化植物燃料油(HVO)/船用柴油作为燃料的能力,并配备瓦锡兰32甲醇发动机。
瓦锡兰还将提供前端隧道和全回转推进器,美国NOV公司提供REMACUT电缆敷设系统、起重机和作业设备,ABB则提供船载直流电网配电系统。
这艘全长176.5米的电缆敷设船由挪威Salt Ship Design公司设计,配备三个转盘,可提供23,000吨的电缆敷设能力。

NKT Eleonora enters new construction phase as its hull makes a splash
The hull of NKT’s new cable-laying vessel (CLV) NKT Eleonora has been launched into the water at Vard’s shipyard in Tulcea, Romania.
The official keel laying for the vessel took place in January 2025, some two months after the first steel was cut.
NKT Eleonora will be able to run on both methanol and HVO/marine diesel oil and will feature Wärtsilä 32 methanol engines.
Wärtsilä is also supplying the front tunnel and azimuth thruster, NOV REMACUT the cable lay system, cranes and mission equipment, and ABB will deliver its Onboard DC Grid power distribution system.
The 176.5-meter-long CLV was designed by Salt Ship Design. Equipped with three turntables, it will offer a cable-laying capacity of 23,000 tons.
